Welcome to the Carlinville Police Department, striving to keep our community safe for our children and families.

Carlinville is located in Macoupin County, Illinois and serves a community of 5,917 people. The department is comprised of a Chief of Police, 2 Sergeants, 1 Detective, 7 Patrol Officers and 1 K-9. The department also includes a dispatch center which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
